I'M GETTING MARRIED!!! :)

So for all of those who haven't heard my great news yet... Last night Jeff popped the big question. :)

Here's what happened..

So yesterday morning Jeff and I are talking and he tells me that he is craving tacos and I was thinking that tacos did sound really good so we decided to get them for dinner, Jeff suggest that we go up to Manti and eat at a little place called fred's and so I said sure.

We Jeff left off to work and I went to class and around 1 in the afternoon I got a text from Jeff saying that his boss let him off work early and he was going to go home and shower. I was in the sewing lab working on a new quilt i'm making and so I told him to come and see me before he went home. He came over and asked me if I wanted to go and get tacos for lunch but I had just had lunch and was not hungry.

Well he went home and I spent the next few hours in the sewing lab, and the whole time I was in there I was getting text from Jeff asking me how long I was going to be there and if I was almost done..

When I was driving home Karen called me and I talked to her for a while and then told Jeff I was home and he could come over, when he got to my house he was dressed in his nice clothes and his hair was all done, and he had his watch on. (He only wears his watch when its something special) So I was thinking something was up, and I started questioning him, but he gave me some really good normal answers so I brushed it off and forgot. Well he was ready to go but I decided that I wanted to take a shower before we left, so an hour and a half later I was showered, had done my make up and was ready to go to dinner.

Dinner was good, but they were out of tacos. After we were done eating we walked across the street and looked through this cute old store and then went to get hot chocolate, because it was freezing outside!! When I thought we were headed home he took a random turn and I asked him where we were going and he told me that he was taking me to the temple because I had asked him a few weeks ago if we could go. So not thinking anything we drove up to the temple and he parked the car. But I was really cold so I asked if we could just sit in the car and look at the temple, but he told me No, we need to walk around. I thought that was a little weird because normally he would just let me sit in the car.

So we got out of the car and walked up to the gate and I was thinking someday when Jeff asks me to marry him this is probably what it will be like . . . little did I know.

So we get to the back of the temple and we are just standing there talking and Jeff starts messing with something behind his back, and then I knew what was going on. He was holding me close and said "there comes a time when every boy and girl needs to make a decision" or something like that and then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.

I honestly don't remember anything I said, but he told me I just kept on screaming and jumping up and down and saying shut up!! ha ha It took me by such surprise, and I thought he was joking, and after he put the ring on my finger I just kept on looking at it to make sure it was real, and asking him if we were really engaged.

Lucky for me he was not just joking around, and yes I AM REALLY ENGAGED!!!!

I am so excited to get married to my best friend and spend the rest of my life with him!!!! :)

My ring is GORGEOUS!!! There are 24 diamonds in the top and in the wedding band there are another 14 :) My man did good lol :)

If It Rains On My Parade, I'll Dance In It!

I am loving being back at snow college!! I am pretty sure that coming back was the right decision! I have made a lot of new friends and I have 5 awesome room mates! Who I absolutely adore!! They are so much fun to be around and they are all so happy and out going!

First there is Kylie (Ky) - she is on the drill team and super loud. All the time, you always know when she is home. She is always so happy!

Then there is Jodie (Jo) - she is so funny and always makes me laugh. She had dark brown hair but is a total blonde at heart!! She always just makes my day by saying something to make me laugh.

Then there is Bree' L (Bree) - she is also on the drill team and for the first week and a half I thought she was super quite and shy; but really she is not she is a lot like Jo and Kylie and she is so funny and super nice.

Down stairs there is Jayleen (Jay) - I have never met anyone with so much natural energy... but not only does she have tonz of her own energy, her mom gave her these natural energy pills that she likes to take which totally make her go off the walls. It is so funny to watch her dance around and laugh over who knows what she is talking about. She is so cute and nice!!

Then there is Roxanna (Roxy) - But I don't know her like at all. I NEVER see her... maybe like once a week... When she is walking around on campus. (Normally with her boyfriend) they are really cute together.

The 2nd week after I moved in there was a night that it was raining really hard so Jo, Bree, Ky, and I ran outside to play in it and there was a huge group of girls blasting music and dancing in the parking lot of our apartments. So we went and joined them... even though we didn't know any of them :) it was a lot of fun and we made some new friends, after we got bored of that Jo and I went puddle jumping and then when we were so wet that we were having a hard time keeping our pants up we went home and put on our swimming suits and Jo, Jay, and I went and jumped into the hot tub. It was such a fun night!! I LOVE COLLEGE :)

Oh how they change. . .

So I've put up a lot of pictures from all the different places I have lived in the past year, so I decided to take a few pictures this morning of the house I have been living in for the past little while... I've been living with my cousins in lehi :) there house is beautiful! I am going to be so sad when I leave!!

If You Need To Crash, Then Crash And Burn Your Not Alone

Wow, what a crazy past few months I have have. . .
In the past two months I finished my summer classes at Snow College, Went on a crazy two day road trip with my cousins and sister to New Mexico to visit my family,was in the car when it hit a dear, got stranded in Cortez's Colorado, read the book "the notebook", hung out with my family, saw a hot air balloon, took a ride on a camel, flew on an airplane by myself, packed up every thing I own, moved from Ephraim into my cousin house in Lehi, lived out of a duffel bag for a month, got a closet, unpacked all my stuff, took a tour of different hair schools, got a spray on tan, decided to go to hair school at Evans, Dropped out of college, became a bum with no life, looked for jobs, got a job interview, didn't take the job, rode my bike around with cailie, took crazy pictures, went to Idaho Lava hot springs, floated down a river, got allergies, a cold, a sinus infection, and asthma all at once, took some strong drugs, punched cailie in the back in my sleep, had crazy dreams, went on a road trip with Deidre to Ephraim, got my laptop fixed, cried, broke my phone, fixed my phone, ate a cookie monster cookie, went to the nickelback concert and also saw saving able, papa roach, hinder, got beer spilled on the back of my legs, lived with lauren for two days, painted my nails yellow, went to a rest home and made some new friends with some old ladies, decided I wanted to take a break from school and be a nanny for a year, cried, talked to my mom and decided that I didn't want this, called Snow college and got back in. . . Welcome to my life.
This weekend and next week: Pack up everything I own again into my trusty astro van henri, move into park place apartments, register for classes, find a job, start over again.
